Created by Smashbox Cosmetics’ lip editor in chief, Vlada Haggerty, the lip look used 80 diamonds and more than 6.5 carats and took an hour to create (she hand-glued each diamond onto the lips by hand!), with the final look totaling $26,500, thanks to jewelry designer Zoe Chicco. Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Metal Lip in Crimson Chrome ($24), was used on the bottom lip, which leaves behind a metallic-meets-glossy finish that won’t fade.
If you don’t have a spare $26,000 worth of diamonds in your back pocket but still love this look, try using glitter as a stand-in for the full-priced option without skimping on any of the light-catching drama.
