I never would have gone out of my way to try Plantogen Hydrating Moisturiser. Dryness has never been a skin issue for me; so when I select a moisturizer, I typically base my choice on solutions other than hydration (like brightening or evenness). Plantogen isn’t shy about this product’s main priority-intensive moisture. When it found its way into NewBeauty‘s offices, I decided to give it a shot, simply because I’m a bit obsessed with trying beauty products. (Also, because it has Manuka honey, and I love products with honey.)
Now that I’ve tried Plantogen Hydrating Moisturiser, all I can say is that my moisturizing priorities have changed. After using it for just a few days, I’ve decided I can never again use anything that puts hydration second. This thick, non-greasy cream melts into skin with a little help from the box’s recommended circular motion. Although I’ve achieved softness on my face from other creams, nothing has ever made my neck and throat feel so soft.
I’m not quite sure what exactly put this cream over the edge for me-after all, I’ve heard about other products with its ingredients. Aside from honey, there’s green tea, chamomile, vitamins C and E, wheat germ oil, apricot kernel oil and lecithin, all contributing to the reduction of premature aging’s key signs. I’m no scientist, but perhaps it’s the liposomal solution that clinches the efficient delivery of all of those ingredients’ benefits.
Whatever it is, I’m hooked. And hydrated.
