Luckily, Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich ($35) is here and it contains all the skin-saving, moisture-locking ingredients (Ceramides! Fatty acids! Murumuru and shea butters!), but still leaves a matte, primed canvas for makeup to slide on right over. The scent is intoxicating (in an herbaceous, lavender-infused way) and while the texture is thick in the jar, it melts into skin easily and leaves a velvety-smooth finish. Most important of all, it leaves your skin quenched all day long so there’s never any dryness, flakiness or irritation. Now that’s something to look forward to this winter.
