Giving These Scents Makes Sense

Fragrances-as-gifts is a school of thought to which I’ve never subscribed. Scent is so personal-I worry that any bottle of perfume is bound to get returned. But this holiday season, I’m making an exception. Make that three exceptions.

I don’t know how anyone could avoid smiling when unwrapping a Harajuku Lovers Solid Fragrance Coffret. Five cute little faces open to reveal five distinctly different solid fragrances: Love, Lil’ Angel, Music, Baby, and G, which stands for Gwen (Stefani). It may look like a made-for-teens gift set, but anyone of any age can enjoy this super-cute quintet.

The not-so-fabulous economy has put bigger gift buys on hold for many of us, so while you may not have the audacity to ask for Prada bag, there is a way to carry Prada wherever you go. The Infusion D’Iris Purse Spray conveniently tags along as an elegant, stainless steel vaporizer, ready to spray the latest Prada fragrance.

As for my wish list-if there was a guy in my life, I would drop about a million hints to him in hopes of getting the Jackie O-inspired Love in Black, a sensual new scent by iconic fragrance house Creed. I thought nothing could tear me away from tuberose-centric scents, but this richly floral fragrance-with layers of violets-has won me over.
