I typically raise an eyebrow to most beauty products that promise anything “instantly,” knowing that true skin rejuvenation takes time as cells must renew and collagen production must be stimulated. Yet even though I approached Spa De Soleil’s Instant Glow ($70) with a bit of skepticism, I remained open-minded enough to give it a shot.
It contains lots of great skin-boosting ingredients: hyaluronic acid to plump lines; vitamin C to promote collagen production; and vitamin A to ease hyperpigmentation. But the “instant” effect is brought on by light-reflecting micro-spheres that catch the light and create the “glow.”
I did notice that my cheeks looked perkier within minutes of applying it. And after a week or so, my whole face appears brighter. With holiday parties around the corner and drab ol’ winter leaving us looking and feeling a bit gray, there’s no better time to get your glow on than now.
