She may have tripped accepting her Oscar but Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence looked flawless in a Dior gown with her blonde locks pulled back on Sunday night.
A day after the big award show, Lawrence was spotted in Beverly Hills sporting an entirely different look dressed in black with the hair color to match. We’re guessing it’s for her role in the upcoming Hunger Games film.
“Blondes going dark is something that women have done forever,” says celebrity colorist Brad Johns. “This is a beautiful chocolate brown on Jennifer. Whether she went darker for a role (most likely the case) or whether it’s just for fun, it’s a great February brunette but hopefully it can be lightened easily so she can return to being lighter and brighter for the Spring.”
Thinking about going from light to dark like Lawrence?
IT&LY’s color experts suggest shampooing the hair with a chelating shampoo to remove any traces of oils and styling products that can leave a build-up on the hair preventing even color coverage.
Next, after drying the hair, mist with a leave in treatment such as 2 Phase Hydrashine to even the porosity. IT&LY’s Colorly 2020 permanent hair color 4TN (Coffee Brown) will provide that deep rich brunette color.
After processing, rinse thoroughly then lightly shampoo and condition with IT&LY’s Advanced Color Protection Shampoo and Conditioner followed by spritzing their Color Loc to seal the cuticle for long lasting coverage.
