Get A Grip On Whiter Teeth

Is there a word for a person who avoids yellowish teeth like a phobia? If not, there should be. I simply do not believe, in this day and age, that there is any excuse for anything less than clean, beautiful, sparkly-white teeth that practically yell, “I brush and floss constantly!”

Fortunately, there is a wonderful new version of Crest Whitestrips, called Advanced Seal, that completely facilitates my fear and avoidance of teeth that are not up to my standards. Each smartly-sized strip for the upper and lower teeth is made to be worn 30 minutes a day, once or twice a day, depending on your level of patience. I was happy to wait 14 days to claim my prize.

And the winner is… me! First and foremost, my teeth are definitely whiter. And the whiteness is a very real, natural, teeth-can-really-look-like-this-without-veneers shade.

Also important: Advanced Seal strips stay firmly attached to your teeth during the process, never slipping and sliding. I can talk while wearing them, and the package states that you can even drink water while wearing them. In fact, when you take them off, you may find there is a little bit of tension; but they never ripped, and they came right off with a gentle tug (think Velcro). Other strips that I have tried moved about too freely, and I was always readjusting them while they were on my teeth. (Annoying!)

The strips have no taste, and my teeth had no sensitivity after using them. The whiteness is even, and I had no spots. And although I am a nonsmoker, I definitely love my coffee and my red wine (two substances that are sure to interfere with my teeth’s whiteness), so when the time comes, I will be back at the store, picking up another box of these. (It’s recommended to use two kits per year.)

And now, I’m off to go smile at people…
