For many of us, working out can seem like a chore. As if that weren’t enough, we’re often forced to choose between working out and a night out with friends. Luckily, this new workout craze may be the solution to this dilemma. The answer: party workouts. Yes, you heard right. More and more classes are springing up that can help take your workout from dull to fun. Denise Kreft explained to the New York Times, “When things get crazy, my workout is what always falls through the cracks. But this is like a show, a party and a way to burn a ton of calories all in one and it’s the same price as a couple of glasses of wine.” Workout parties are typically held in the evening, and sometimes go as late as midnight. They often feature DJs, popular trainers, fun themes, and even party favors. These classes are a great way to socialize while also getting in a good workout.
