Fake Perfect After-Flight Hair

Fake Perfect After-Flight Hair featured image

Every time I fly, something strange happens to my hair. My normally hard-to-tame totally frizzy strands seem to suck up every last drop of recycled plane air—and, zap, poof—leaves me with an oily, flat, less-than-fresh-smelling style by the time we touch down. Dry shampoo can do the trick, but, in addition to not always having the right carry-on size container, I assume my seatmates sitting around me don’t really want to be subjected to that kind of primping while still on board. But I think I’ve finally found a travel-friendly alternative in the ingenious Chic Sheets (they’re sort of like blotting papers for your hair but do everything your favorite finishing serum/spray can do). Compact and discreet, these tissue-sized sheets of paper dish out the kind of refreshing power usually reserved post-hair-washing—they soak up oil, eliminate static, tame fly-aways and leave behind an ever-so-subtle scent—and all you have to do is swipe them over your strands.
