As far as I’m concerned, Clinique Bonus Time should be a national holiday. Regardless of if I’m running low on my favorite Clinique items, I’ll make an excuse to get that fabulous collection of freebies. So when it rolled around a couple months ago, I didn’t technically need anything, but there was something I’d wanted to try for a while: Turnaround 15-Minute Facial.
I’m a little scared of masks (or anything resembling one), but nothing had improved the problem I’d developed over the last couple of years-unevenness and some spots that hadn’t faded after breakouts. Claiming to more gently deliver the results of microdermabrasion, this seemed like a safe enough bet. The gooey “cocktail of exfoliants” is said to brighten, smooth and reveal more even-toned skin when used weekly. So I applied it for the recommended 15 minutes each Sunday for two months (plus one time before a weeknight date, for a “radiance boost,” as Clinique says).
Although my skin isn’t perfectly even (yet), I definitely see more harmony in my skin, and I believe that will only increase with continued use. Plus, it actually feels really nice and velvety when it dries, and doesn’t have any grit, like many exfoliators-very nice for those of us who redden-up easily from those. Next time Clinique Bonus Time rolls around, I plan on picking up one of the other Turnaround products, like the Concentrate or Skin Renewer, in an effort to expedite the facial’s results.
