More often than not, opting for a full coverage, long-wearing foundation usually means having to compromise on that healthy, luminous effect BB and CC creams are usually known for. The newest addition to Estée Lauder’s coveted Double Wear foundation line, the Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Radiant Makeup ($40) is a twist (literally) on a cushion compact and a stick foundation, sporting a detachable sponge head for easy and even application of the best-selling formula, with the benefit of a promised natural glow thrown in. While the original Double Wear bottle delivers full coverage, this alternative gives a more natural feel, evening out skin tone well without heavy-duty coverage (perfect for those with combination or oily skin that needs a no-slip foundation), but still an allover airbrushed look.

As for the science behind it, the formula has a “SkinSync” complex—a potent blend of emollient lipids and butters like Brazilian Muru-Muru butter and linoleic acid that melts on skin to create a super natural look, as well as a “Quench” complex, where sodium hyaluronate and naturally derived plant and fruit extracts live to help skin lock in moisture while you wear it. And, the foundation itself imparts soft notes of jasmine and rose for a fresh, clean scent around the clock.
It’s also tiny; the shape fits in any bag and is perfect for an on-the-go touchup and hint of radiance whenever you need it. Oh, and it’s available in a whopping 20 shades. Translation: This tube is nothing short of a miracle.
