We’ve come to love Estée Lauder for their best-selling skin care and classic makeup ranges. Without a major perfume release in 10 years, they’ve slipped off our radar when it comes to fragrance but that will change this year when the brand releases their new scent Modern Muse in the fall.
Described as a “lush floral woody” scent, the upcoming fragrance is composed of contrasting notes, which the company describes as a “dual-impression” structure. The fragrance features a sparkling jasmine accord, which is boldly contradicted with the accord of sleek woods.
“We built Modern Muse by carefully selecting every ingredient to reflect the personality, style and distinctive femininity of today’s woman,” says Karyn Khoury, senior vice president, corporate fragrance development worldwide, the Estée Lauder companies. “The ‘dual-impression’ creative approach offers each woman the opportunity to connect with the fragrance in her own way. Some will focus on the sparkling floral elements of the fragrance, while others will view the warm, rich woodiness as the defining facet.”
You can expect to see advertisements popping up in magazines, on TV and online soon. Modern Muse, in its baby pink and navy blue bow-adorned bottle will be available beginning September 2013.
