Next January, you’ll see a new celebrity face in CoverGirl print and TV ads: Drew Barrymore. The 32-year-old movie mogul follows in the footsteps of entertainer-turned-spokesperson Queen Latifah. But unlike any other CoverGirl model, Drew will do more than pose and publicize. The adorable actress and producer will also direct her own commercial.
“I am honored to be associated with a brand that has been at the forefront of their industry for almost 55 years,” she told the press. “CoverGirl has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages and backgrounds.”
Recently, Drew was also the face of Italian fashion house Missoni; and it has been almost 15 years since she strutted her stuff in Guess Jeans print ads.
