If you’re trying to cut back on carbs but still crave the flavor of pizza, Drew Barrymore just shared a genius trick. Scrapping off the toppings of her pizza slice and using the cheese and toppings on a salad instead, the talk show host gave TikTok fans a one-minute lesson on having the best of both worlds.

“If you’re having a day where you’re trying to like, not eat the bread. I’m sure people are going to be like, how dare you do this to a pizza. I get it. I feel really guilty,” said the star as she disassembled her slice. “I just take all of the pizza and a little salad, which basically has all the same toppings as the pizza and then I make a pizza salad. It’s actually really crunchy and delicious.”

While we’re definitely trying this the next time we’re faced with the temptation of a piping hot pie, many followers were not in agreement with Barrymore’s advice. A ton of commenters wrote the star saying things like “life is too short,” “just eat the pizza,” and “how dare you.” Celebs chimed in, too, like comedian Mike Birbiglia who hilariously wrote, “Drew I’m filing a lawsuit on behalf of pizza.”
