Dr. Anne Peled

Plastic Surgeon
2100 Webster Street, Suite 424, San Francisco, CA, 94115
Striving to get you better than you’ve ever been.

With a practice that focuses on both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, Dr. Anne Peled is able to apply the same skill and expertise that she’s honed on extensive reconstruction cases to perfect her techniques on her cosmetic cases as well. “The active reconstructive and cosmetic parts of my practice help to make outcomes in both of those spaces better,” she says. “I take the techniques I’ve learned in reconstructive surgery into the operating room with me for my aesthetic surgery cases and vice versa.” As a working mom with an active lifestyle, she knows firsthand how the many hats her patients’ wear contribute to their decision to undergo a life-changing procedure. “I really understand their concerns about ‘elective’ surgery and part of my job is helping them feel more comfortable putting their own needs first and ensuring they have a smooth recovery.” With her calming bedside manner and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Peled is more than just a surgeon, she’s also a guide for countless patients on their personal transformative journeys.

A Minute With

  1. What are you best known for?
Breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reconstruction, breast reduction and abdominoplasty
  2. What one surgical advancement are you most excited about right now?
I love that the options for breast augmentation keep getting better and better, from improved and a great variety of implants, to fat grafting, to hybrid breast augmentation with a combination of both
  3. What trend do you think people still don’t understand?
Brazilian butt lifts. While the procedure has been popularized by some prominent celebrities, there have been some rare, but very serious, complications that have led plastic surgery societies to issue warnings about the risks. Patients considering it should make sure their surgeon carefully discusses these risks so they can make a truly informed decision
  4. What trend do you hope becomes popular?
We’re definitely seeing many women opting for a more natural look from their breast augmentation, either with smaller implants or fat grafting. Giving women a range of options for breast augmentation to best fit their goals is really exciting
  5. What do you do to provide the safest environment for your patients?
Our goal is to have our patients feel as comfortable as they possibly can with their surgery plan, from spending a significant amount of time explaining what to expect before, during, and after surgery to being readily available by email after hours to answer any questions that come up. We feel that patients do best after surgery when they are best informed about what to expect and can be actively engaged in their recovery process
  6. Three words that best describe me
    Honest, compassionate, inspired
  7. How i would spend extra time in a day
Snuggling with my kids, exercising and finding more time to do research projects
