Philosophy

Despite performing countless facial surgeries a month—from blepharoplasties and facelifts to lip lifts and rhinoplasties—for Dr. Miguel Mascaró, the phrase “cookie cutter” doesn’t exist. “The lip lift procedure I do for the 20-year-old patient is different than the subtle lip lift I do on a 60-year-old patient,” he says. By capturing the unique nuances of each patient’s facial anatomy, he is able to customize treatments that deliver beautiful results. Patients from all over the country come to his South Florida practice for his meticulous attention to detail, skillful approach and natural-looking outcomes. “If you’re coming to me for a facelift, I’ll start by asking to see pictures of you from 10, 15 and 20 years ago,” he explains. “They will give me an idea of where the volume should be. Not everybody needs plump cheeks, but everybody wants the right amount of youthful volume.”
