About My Practice
How do you integrate innovation and advanced techniques into your practice?
“Innovation is at the heart of what we do in plastic surgery. I’ve always believed in staying ahead of the curve, whether through new surgical techniques or the latest in state-of-the-art technologies. I’m constantly researching, attending workshops, and collaborating with other experts to make sure that I’m bringing the most advanced and effective treatments to my patients. My background in art also plays a significant role in how I approach new techniques; I’m always looking for ways to blend the newest technology with my aesthetic vision to create ‘art in motion.’”
A Minute With
- What inspired you to pursue a career in aesthetics?
“I’ve always been drawn to art, and it was that passion that initially led me to consider plastic surgery. Growing up, I was fascinated by how the human body can be shaped, not just for function, but for beauty as well. When I began my medical training, I realized that plastic surgery was the perfect blend of science and artistry.”
- What are the biggest rewards of this profession?
“The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the transformation, both physical and emotional, that occurs after a successful procedure. Whether it’s someone regaining their confidence or achieving a goal they’ve had for years, it’s incredibly gratifying to know I had a role in that change.”
- What are the biggest challenges of being in this industry?
“There are certainly challenges in plastic surgery—especially when it comes to the complexity of each procedure. Every patient is unique, and it’s our job to understand their needs and craft a plan that will deliver the best results. These challenges are what lead to immense rewards.”
- In your opinion, what are the most exciting trends in aesthetics for 2025?
“Plastic surgery has come a long way, and I think the next few years will bring even more exciting advancements. We’re already seeing incredible strides in the technology space. Products like Renuvion allow us to tighten skin and ultimately transform long-scar surgeries into short-scar surgeries, or even no-scar surgeries. Patients truly can have these procedures done and return to daily activity in just a few days. Additionally, I’m particularly excited about the integration of AI into the cosmetic surgical space. New technologies are making procedures more precise, which means quicker recovery times and better outcomes for patients. The trend toward natural, subtle enhancements will continue to be a driving force, which is something I truly believe in—helping people look their best without drastically altering their appearance.”
- What role does professional networking play in expanding opportunities and visibility in the aesthetic field?
“Networking has been a huge part of my career, and it’s something I encourage every professional to embrace. In our field, we’re always learning from one another—whether through conferences, journals, or informal conversations with colleagues. Networking not only helps expand your knowledge and visibility, but also creates a sense of community. It’s a chance to connect with others who share the same objectives.”
