Dr. Sam S. Sadati
About My Practice
In what ways is less more in your practice?
I see a limited number of patients each day so I can give them my undivided, unhurried attention.
What is your primary company philosophy?
We aim to be the best at what we do and provide patients with a service that will benefit them from clinical and beauty standpoints.
What should patients look for when choosing a dentist?
A great dentist is one that sees himself as doctor, artist and student. While any dentist can legally perform procedures, the best dentists will have top credentials, appreciation for this artistry and a continuous desire for further education.
What professional dental organizations are you affiliated with in addition to being an AACD accredited fellow?
I am a Board Certified Oral Implantologist
A Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABPO/ID)
A Fellow and Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (FICOI & DICOI)
A Fellow and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD MAGD)
A Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (FIADFE)
A Member of Americas Society of Dental Aesthetic
A Member of the American Dental Association (ADA)
A Member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID)
A Member of the Florida Dental Association (FDA)
A Member of the Palm Beach County Dental Association (PBCDA)
How important is patient satisfaction to you?
It’s the backbone of my practice. That’s probably why so many current and former patients are eager to speak with new clients and share details about their experience here.
What did you do to achieve accredited fellowship status from the AACD?
There’s a reason fewer than 50 dentists in the world have attained this status. For AACD accreditation, I submitted the required five clinical cases (of various dental cosmetic disciplines) and passed both an oral and a written examination. Then to achieve accredited fellow status, I presented an additional 50 clinical cases. In addition to the demonstration of both my clinical and aesthetic skills, achieving the fellowship required a great deal of self-discipline and willpower.

What is a smile design? What our experts say:
We create a smile design by finding out the best size and shape of their teeth. When those are combined together, we can create the best overall smile to fit the patients face.
How does the Kor system whiten teeth? What our experts say:
It’s a more precise system than some of the other bleaching systems (Zoom and Sapphire) for deep bleaching, where we use special impressions that are sent to a lab to make customized trays for the patients. The treatment varies from patient to patient based on their type of staining. For severe stains, we do an in-office treatment, followed by an at-home treatment, and then we follow up with another in-office treatment. For others, we do an at-home treatment, then one in-office and then they just maintain. Patients have to be serious about having it done because it is time consuming; but it works.
How long do the results of Kor bleaching last? Who is a good candidate? What our experts say:
Everything depends on the patients eating, smoking and lifestyle habits, but it should last basically a long time. However, there is maintenance involved, where the patient needs to retreat the teeth at home one or two times a month overnight. A good candidate would be anybody who has staining or a yellowish tone to their natural teeth.
Are there foods to avoid when whitening the teeth? What our experts say:
Avoid any foods that can stain teeth: wine, coffee, spices that stain like turmeric and saffron, and also avoid smoking. We recommend trying to stay away from these foods and smoking as much as possible during the bleaching process which takes a couple of weeks.
Does gum contouring hurt? What our experts say:
If we are using a laser to remove some of the gum tissue, then no, but if there’s a need to have the bone removed then it would be painful. If we are removing soft tissue with a blade, then yes, you would have discomfort for a while; but in those cases anesthesia would be used.
