Meryl Streep has done it again. The multiple Oscar winning leading lady has proven, yet again, why she’s such a star. At the age of 62, she has broken the record as the oldest woman to grace the cover of Vogue magazine.
If that seems like a crazy notion, consider that the average age of cover models was 33 in 2010. Streep is almost double that age. But with so many talented and mature women in Hollywood, you would think more would have graced the cover at some point in time, right? Either way, we think Streep just keeps getting better with age just like the rest of us, and we’re glad she’s getting her recognition for it.
Which leads us to our latest poll. These days it seems like women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s (and older) are looking better than ever. Is it due to advances in anti-aging products and cosmetic procedures or do women get better with age?
