Nail and hand care brand Deborah Lippmann is moving into an entirely new category: skin care. The brand has previously launched body lotion and cuticle cream, but the new Deep Repair Facial Night Cream ($58) is its first product for the face.
Officially launching on deborahlippman.com on April 15, this ultra-moisturizing cream is formulated with skin-boosting ingredients like vegan collagen, peptides, microorganisms and hyaluronic acid. It strengthens the skin’s microbiome, transforms texture and minimizes the look of fine lines and wrinkles while you snooze, so when the sun rises you’ll be left with visibly softer, plumper skin that lasts the entire day.
The brand recommends applying the cream about 15 minutes before bedtime to allow it to sink into your skin and get to work while you snooze.
Prior to this launch, Deborah Lippmann released the new Balancing Act pH-Balanced Manicure-Safe Hand Soap ($32), which is designed to hydrate and produce an extra-soft lather that leaves your hands feeling smooth and healthy. With skin-loving ingredients like soothing oat and calendula flower, we should have expected that a healing moisturizer would be the next launch.
