What’s Your Morning Routine?
I wake up at 7 a.m., wash my face, brush my teeth and drink two cups of coffee. While having the first cup, I check all my emails and then eat breakfast. Diet-wise, I’m at my best in the morning because I don’t have much of an appetite, so I’ll have plain oatmeal with cinnamon, yogurt or a smoothie. After breakfast, I go to the gym and then have a shower. It usually takes me about a half hour to leave the house.
Which Products Do You Reach For While Getting Ready?
I brush with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda & Peroxide Toothpaste, use Degree deodorant, Paul Mitchell The Conditioner Leave-in Moisturizer for my hair and Ramy Sleep In Beauty in medium on my skin.
What’s A Day At Work Like?
I check web and purchase orders first thing, then reply to emails, which usually involves manufacturing, new product development, reordering existing products as we run out of them, replying to customer inquiries and doing online consultations. My first brow or makeup client is at 10 a.m. From 10 until 7 p.m. I’m doing eyebrows or makeup and am running to my desk in-between clients to run my business.
What Do You Eat For Lunch?
Many days I’m too busy to stop and eat lunch (bad, I know) or I’ll send someone out to get me pizza (worse, I know). Other days, I’ll get a soup or salad.
What Do You Do When You’re Out Of Work?
Some days, I’ll go to the gym if I haven’t gone that morning and then other days I’ll meet friends for dinner or I just collapse and watch TV. When I’m treating myself, I’ll indulge in my homemade pasta (I love to cook because I love to eat) or I’ll order in Thai or Japanese food. I go to sleep way too late. I get a second wind around midnight and then I’ll stay up watching TV and playing on my iPad until 2 a.m.

The Brow Master! I’ve invented, patented and trademarked a tool that will make it possible to give yourself perfect eyebrows at home. It’s launching in June 2014, so I’m really excited!
Are There Any Surprising Steps In Your Beauty Routine?
No matter the situation, I never go to bed without a clean face. I also think I’m surprisingly low-maintenance. People think that if you’re a makeup artist or beauty expert, then your every waking hour involves grooming and maintaining yourself, but for me it’s about making everyone else gorgeous!
What’s Something We Would Be Surprised To Know About You?
My eyes don’t work together to create one visual, so those 3D glasses never worked for me. I’d see red on one side and blue on the other. I’m also left-handed. I think both of these traits are what sets me apart and gives me a unique view when I’m doing makeup and eyebrows.
