What time do you wake up?
I used to love sleeping in until about 9 a.m. but since having my daughter, Sophia, I feed throughout the night and get up around 6:30 a.m. I don’t miss my lazy mornings at all because now, an early morning cuddle with Sophia is my favorite. Motherhood is amazing!
What’s your morning routine like?
I use Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel and Active Moist moisturizer every day along with La Prairie Eye Cream and bliss paraben free naked body butter (it smells amazing and feels superluxe). I also love REN Shower Gel and SHOW Beauty Premiere Dry Shampoo.
Around 8 a.m. I have porridge for breakfast with chamomile tea and lots of water. Having a baby, it takes much longer to get out the door, however, with little time for myself right now I could be ready to go in 15 minutes. For evening events, I used to give myself hours to enjoy getting ready but I guess now that will all change!
Describe a typical day at work.
I don’t have a standard day and certainly with a small baby, my schedule is erratic at any moment. Most days, I start answering emails as soon as I’m up and then conference calls with my team, followed by creative or development meetings and interviews. Around 1 p.m. I usually have a soup or salad with some lovely grilled chicken, vegetables and quinoa. Afternoons are usually spent catching up with my team in the US on everything that is happening from media to retail partners.
What do you do after work?
I try and do Pilates to relax and stay fit. When the weather is nice in London, I enjoy taking Sophia for walks in the park. Dinner usually varies but I love eating a steak with vegetables or yummy chicken stir-fry. I try to go to sleep around 11 p.m., but with a new baby, it’s all about their needs and feeding.
