The long-awaited premiere of And Just Like That finally arrived on December 8. More than 17 years have passed since Big flew to Paris to profess his love to Carrie in the final episode of Sex and the City. Over the past two decades, the women have aged gracefully, growing into their middle-aged years. To prepare for the glamorous premiere tonight, some of the stars, including Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, used sculpting skin-care tools from Pause Well-Aging.

“For this red carpet, it was less about the makeup and more about the skin. Cynthia has been playing Miranda for so long, and this character has white hair now. We wanted to bring Cynthia back for this premiere, modern, fresh and radiant,” celebrity makeup artist Matin Maulawizada said in a statement.

Maulawizada prepped Nixon’s skin using Pause Well-Aging products. Maulawizada said he started using Pause Well-Aging’s Fascia Stimulating Tool ($115) before it even hit the market. “It’s my absolute favorite tool. I used this, along with the Pause Well-Aging Collagen Boosting Moisturizer ($72) and the Pause Well Aging Eye Renewal Treatment ($78), to give Cynthia a little facial massage, working these moisturizers into her skin with the fascia tool for about five minutes. This gets the blood circulating and takes away extra puffiness.” Following the de-puffing massage, Maulawizada applied Pause Well-Aging Moisture Lock Ultra Hydrator ($65).

Celebrity makeup artist Genevieve Herr also used Pause Well-Aging’s Fascia Stimulating Tool to prep Davis’ skin for the evening. The facial massage tool is designed to boost elasticity, reduce sagging and improve skin health. The Fascia Stimulating Tool is popular among many celebrities. Nixon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Kyra Sedgewick all used the product to prep for the 2021 Golden Globe Awards

Both Nixon and Davis’ hair for the And Just Like That premiere was styled with Better-Not Younger products. The brand is the first and only hair-care brand specifically designed for women over the age of 40. “Cynthia has fine hair, so to build up the texture, I use the Better Not Younger Lift Me Up Hair Thickener ($34) throughout her freshly washed damp hair (not too wet, nor too dry) from the roots to the ends,” said celebrity hairstylist Rebekah Forecast. She followed that up with the Better Not Younger Heat Protection and Taming Spray ($32) before blowing out Nixon’s hair with a round brush and GHD blow dryer. Next, Forecast flat ironed Nixon’s hair with a GHD flat iron as needed “to enhance sleekness.” For final touches, she added some Better Not Younger Superpower Fortifying Hair & Scalp Serum ($47) and Better Not Younger Fresh Start Scalp Renewing Dry Shampoo ($29).
