I flat-iron my wavy hair at least once a week, but you’d never know it from the way it looks only a few hours after I do it. My hair usually fights its way back to a semi-curly, puffy anti-shape, helped along by humidity and the fact that my straightening iron cost a whopping $17.
When ghd creation spray found its way to my desk, I tried to keep my expectations low about this half-iron-stying-aide, half-hairspray. But as I spritzed it on each section of hair, I could already tell that it was helping my iron do the work it normally struggles to do. It took fewer passes to get my tresses straight, which means less damage over time. I used a couple more mists when I was done, and the soft hold was impervious to the culprits that normally make my hair wonky by lunch.
I imagine the only way the spray could perform even better is if I trade in my bargain-basement iron for one of ghd’s top-of-the-line models.
