Cover Gray Hair At Home

Cover Gray Hair At Home featured image

For many years, I never had my hair colored. As I inched towards the end of my 20s, and grey hairs started to appear, I knew I couldn’t hold out any longer. I went to a salon and had my hair professionally altered but based upon my salary at the time, I knew that I couldn’t keep up this routine. That’s when I started looking at alternative ways to keep the grey away.

I tried virtually every product line, but the one I found that worked best for me were the hair coloring products from the Garnier line. I’ve had sensitive skin all of my life and after multiple applications of their products, I have never had a negative reaction – no skin irritations and best of all – no surprises in how my hair turns out at the end of the process.

I use Nutrisse Cream when I want to keep my usual color but want to cover up any new grey. Occasionally, I have wanted to lighten or darken all of my hair and Belle Color addresses that need. When I want to turn it up a notch, I use 100% Color. Its broad range of shades, which are made up of bright and deep hues, are playful without being obnoxious. Multi-Lights, a new addition to the Garnier line, allows me to add highlights and lowlights on my own, in a way where it’s almost impossible to mess up.
