Control Frizzy Curls

Curls can be hard to control, especially if your hair is naturally curly. Frizz-which is caused by a lack of moisture and protein, excessive humidity, overloading on products, or too much damage-can take over, causing your potentially luscious locks to take on a life of their own.

Hair contains both positive and negative charges, so when you wash your hair too much, it removes the negative charge and leaves two positive charges. Just like two positive magnets, overly positive-charged hair rebels, causing curls to become big and unmanageable.

The best way to keep your curls under control? Wash your hair every two to three days, and make sure it’s hydrated so curls don’t become too frizzy or too big.
