Blame it on the boom of the double-cleanse or the effects of the economy, but beauty enthusiasts woke up to the sad news this morning that popular brand Clarisonic will be shutting down as of September 30.
As announced on Instagram with additional details on its site, the brand shared that “after more than a decade of game-changing innovation and industry-leading technology, the Clarisonic brand will be shutting down…this difficult decision was made so that L’Oréal can focus its attention on its other core business offerings.”
As part of the announcement on social media, the brand also posted that they’re promoting a huge half-off sale on its site and at authorized retailers in the process.
“To our entire Clarisonic community, it has been our absolute pleasure to serve you all these years. Please take advantage of our last chance, 50% off EVERYTHING sale on Clarisonic.com and at our authorized retailers (@Amazon, @Sephora and @ultabeauty)while supplies last, and see the link in our bio for a list of FAQs regarding our closure. Thank you for being a part of the Clarisonic family.”
More info on the closure, as well as warranty and auto-refill information, can be found here.
