Update 4/14/17:
Just one day after the announcement, Chrissy Teigen’s BECCA X CHRISSY palette has already officially made it’s debut via Instagram. Kerry Cole, the Global Style Director for Becca Cosmetics, posted an image of the palette last night, showing off four gorgeous, limited edition shades enclosed in a marble-looking case. Included in the palette are a shimmering rose gold highlighter, a matte bronzer, a bright pink blush and a deeper-toned highlighter for a bronzy afterglow. According to a separate post by Instagram user @trendmood1, the palette will be released in early May and will cost $46.

It appears that Chrissy Teigen is just full of surprises. The model, mother and mogul cookbook author just revealed her next career endeavor and it’s certainly not what we expected. In a recent Instagram post, Teigen disclosed that she’s teaming up with none other than Becca Cosmetics to create her own line of makeup, a decision much different than her recent brand collaborations and television ventures.
“It is official! I’m cooking up something super special with my friends at @BECCAcosmetics,” she captioned the post. “I’ve been a massive fan of their highlighters for years and I just can’t wait for you all to see.”

Teigen’s announcement was then followed up by a confirmation from Becca Cosmetics’ Instagram page, showing a similar Boomerang of Teigen blowing a shimmery mix of makeup pigments into the air while hanging out in what’s assumed to be the brand’s makeup lab.
In reality, we shouldn’t be too surprised by this endeavor because creating things from scratch is pretty much Teigen’s thing. Mixing pigments to create makeup is kind of on par with mixing ingredients while cooking, right? While that might be a slight stretch, Teigen’s makeup does always look flawless on the red carpet, so if her makeup line can bring us a smidgen closer to recreating her gorgeous glow, we’re definitely down for it.
