When coloring your hair, whether you go from dark to light or light to dark, you can’t just ignore the color of your eyebrows. Doing so can result in an unbalanced, distracting appearance.
According to experts, your eyebrows should be about one to two shades darker than your hair color. Ideally, you want to see them, but they should not be the focus of the face.
Blondes should make sure that eyebrows are soft but not too light; otherwise they will disappear and exaggerate lines and wrinkles surrounding the eye area.
Brunettes, on the other hand, should strive for a natural color without going dramatically dark; brows that are too dark can give off a severe look.
