It’s official, National Lipstick Day is here! Although most of us celebrate the beauty and transformative power of lipstick on the daily, you can really let your lipstick loving self shine today. Whether you like it glossy or matte, nude or bold; in a balm, liquid or in the traditional pout-loving tube—today is your day. Here’s how you can whoop it up!

According to the National Day Calendar, beauty blogger turned makeup mogul Huda Kattan has claimed National Lipstick Day as her own. A proclamation from the National Calendar Day’s registrar has named her the official owner of National Lipstick Day. (i.e. she bought the holiday on the National Calendar this year). It’s no coincidence that Huda Beauty is launching it’s new line of 16 Liquid Matte Lipsticks ($20) at Sephora today, and if they sell out as quickly as her Lip Contour pencils did in March, she will have earned the title. (Due to high demand, they may have already sold out on Sephora.com, but they’re still available on the Sephora mobile app.)
