When Clinique ventured into body products a few years ago, I fell madly in love with their Deep Comfort Body Butter. I was initially attracted to it because of its lack of scent. So many body lotions, creams, and butters may really perform well with your skin but if the scent drives you nuts, it’s not worth the other benefits.
Deep Comfort Body Butter is loaded with shea butter, glycerin, vitamin E and other rich emollients, which makes the creamy, barely scented mixture, thick, soft, and luxurious. Although you may be tempted to use it on your face, remember, Clinique specifically wants you to use it just on your body. When you apply it after a shower, you’ll be surprised at how quickly it absorbs into your skin and how non-greasy the results are.
Because my skin is so dry, the best time for me to use Deep Comfort Body Butter is Spring. Those of you with normal skin that tends to have some dryness during the winter, this is perfect for you to try out NOW. Its only real drawback for me is the price-a 6.7 ounce jar is $23.50 and if you use it all over your body, then 6.7 ounces tends to disappear rather quickly.
If you have occasional dryness in a couple of areas (like your elbows), you’ll be quite pleased at the cumulative effects of Deep Comfort Body Butter. I find that dry patches seem to take longer to appear and that as I use the product more, I end up using less of it.
