Bring Back Your Brows

The tweezer can be a dangerous tool. Is there any woman who hasn’t over-plucked? If you’re a serial over-plucker, you may have found that your brows don’t grow back into their former, fuller shape. You do have options to get them back to their original state, though.

A procedure called brow restoration is very similar to hair restoration. For the most natural result, 200 to 300 single hairs are transplanted from the scalp to the brows. (This is during using local anesthesia.) There’s some bruising and swelling for up to a week after the procedure, which starts at about $3000, but the new brows are permanent.

If you’d like to try a less expensive option-literally one-hundredth of the price- eyebrow queen Anastasia Soare recently introduced Nu Brow Brow Enhancing Serum into her namesake line. The clear gel relies on the strongest proteins and vitamins to repair eyebrows. There are products on the market that make similar claims, but they typically work in a few months; Nu Brow is said to work in about a month.
