3 Easy Ways to Completely Unwind

Relaxing is hard work! I am always on-the-go and constantly in work mode so finding time to relax everyday, even if only for a few minutes is super important. Below are some of my favorite ways to soothe my senses and completely unwind.
1. Take a peaceful bath. This is a great way to both relax your mind and body. I always start my baths by adding a few drops of Argan Oil for hydration and then a few drops of essential oils (lavender is my favorite) to make a beautiful aroma. I make sure to get some relaxing tunes playing and close my eyes -- this allows for my senses to relax fully.
2. Unplugging from devices. While this seems nearly impossible, sometimes it’s so necessary for you to get into a peaceful state. I always try to unplug from my devices an hour before bedtime so I can really ease my mind before sleeping.
3. Be with nature. I love to be outside as much as possible – it’s where I feel the most alive and energized. When I’m really looking to relax and unwind, I drive to the nearest beach and go walking on the sand barefoot. There is something so magical about feeling the warm sand in my toes, hearing the waves crash, and smelling the fresh water. It's a total sensory delight experience!
