The Top 3 Beauty Trends You Should Start Wearing Now

With the change in seasons, it’s time to start thinking about how you can switch up your makeup. We found three warm-weather trends that we’re ready to incorporate into our beauty routines right now.

Sea-Inspired Nails
Seafoam nails are scratching their way to the top of our favorites list. From super pale shades to slightly darker hues, seafoam hits the nail on the head this season. Go full-foam by painting your whole nail, or join the wave slowly by using this gorgeous green-blue hue as an accent to a more neutral mani. We’re loving Fiver by butter LONDON ($15) and Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Paradisio ($27).

Coming Up Roses
Florals are a facial focal point this season, with lips and cheeks donning rose stains. The subtle shade gives cheeks a fresh, healthy glow. Pair that with a matching pout for a look that’s as sweet as it is show-stopping. To be sure your shades match up, try YSL Kiss & Blush in Rose Frivole ($40), a 2-in-1 blended mousse that highlights your cheeks and lips with a rosroy stain.

On-Point Eyeliner
The defined eyeliner trend is here to stay, and spring brings with it an ever-so-slightly-lighter liner look that we can’t get enough of. Equally defined, but thinner, this season’s eyeliner trend gives all the drama while saving a little something in your makeup bag for later. “Liner has to be done really prominently—it’s there to be seen,” says Sandy Linter, makeup artist for Lancôme at the Warren Tricomi Salon. And to get the look, follow Linter’s tips. “Use a Lancôme Black Ebony Pencil [Le Crayon Kohl] ($26) to do dashes across the lid, then take a Lancôme #24 brush ($20) and blend the dashes together to form a line. Retrace the pencil with black gel liner, Black Fishnets Liner Design by Lancôme ($25). This really seals in the pencil, and you can take a thin Q-tip and flick out the gel liner to give your eye a lift.”
