Aside from Revenge star Madeleine Stowe’s likeable personality, there’s one thing you cannot ignore while being in her presence–her skin. In our exclusive interview, featured in the latest issue of NewBeauty, Madeleine revealed her secret to flawless skin. “I get facials from aesthetician Nerida Joy. She doesn’t’ believe in going for things like lasers and all those other crazy treatments. She’s extraordinary!” So we asked Joy for the inside scoop on how she gets Madeleine’s skin to glow ever so naturally.
What factors contribute to Madeleine’s glowing skin? “She gets her glow I believe, from keeping hydrated inside and out and she also eats very clean and healthy. She has good, healthy skin, but we continue to focus on hydration and cleansing. Her skin can get blotchy with pigment, so she keeps it well protected.”
Madeleine tells us you give her a long facial massage and use alphahydroxy acids, but what else do you do to treat her skin? “Her skin requires regular extractions of the pores to keep them small. I also massage her skin a lot with treatment serums and hydrating treatment creams.”
How often do you treat her? “I see Madeleine generally every month, sometimes more, depending on her schedule seeing as she works really long hours on her show.”
She also believes her go-to treatment tremendously helps her skin. What is it? “She loves oxygen so we always include that into her facial treatments!”
