Beyoncé Cut Her Hair and We Know What Product She’s Using

Just when we thought we couldn’t bear to look at another “selfie”, Beyoncé’s mirror-shot on Instagram gave us (and her 5.6 million followers) a reason to think otherwise. Late Wednesday night the star posted three photos of her brand new never-before-seen pixie cut.

A style icon in her own, Beyoncé needs no explanation as to why she ditched her signature long locks but going short and sexy couldn’t be more on-trend for summer. And after getting her tresses tangled in a wind fan during a live concert last month in Montreal, she might have gained some extra inspiration to lose the length. Whatever the reason is, we love the new ‘do and can’t wait to see how Beyoncé maintains and styles her new cut.

After a little investigative research we determined just what product was lurking in the corner of Beyoncé’s vanity. That yellow bottle is…drum roll pleaseJane Carter Wrap & Roll ($9), a soft mousse that dries clean without leaving any residue. And as you probably guessed, it’s all natural and safe for color-treated hair. Even better, the natural glycerides, essential oils and moisturizers leave hair extra soft and shiny.

It’s no surprise that Beyoncé cut her hair, says celebrity makeup artist and hair stylist Stephanie Flor. “She’s a new mom and doesn’t have time to spend hours doing her hair. Wrap & Roll is great for setting and drying the hair naturally. Now that Beyoncé has cut off her hair, she’s looking for products that are natural and create a finished look in half the time.”

We love Beyoncé’s sophisticated new look. Do you?
