After quite a long career hiatus due to voice problems and personal woes, Shania Twain is back and better than ever. At 47 years old, the Grammy-award winning country music star looks stunning, but don’t think she hasn’t worked for it.
Wearing a Grecian style dress, Shania showed up to the 2013 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada—where she has a two-year residency at Caesar’s—showing off a perfectly curvaceous figure and long red hair. Following a strict vegetarian diet, Shania doesn’t eat meat, fish or eggs and with all the dancing and moving around she does on stage almost nightly, it’s no wonder she is in such great shape.
Her makeup these days is elegantly understated, with emphasis on the eyes and a neutral apricot tone on her lips; this natural look is a definite departure from her early days on the music scene. When she first started out in the 90s, big hair and makeup were part of the style and Shania didn’t shy away. She regularly sported a face full of dark eye shadow and loads of lipstick.
Not that the pop star has ever needed much help from makeup. Shania is scientifically beautiful. Don’t believe us? The University of Toronto did a study that measured the arrangement of a woman’s facial features (the vertical distance between the eyes and the mouth and the horizontal distance between the eyes) and found that Shania has the perfect ratios and symmetry.
