Makeover Monday: Celebrity Eyebrow Transformations

Perfectly groomed eyebrows with a natural arch, frame the face and give a soft, natural look. They also have the unique ability to make you look younger. Case-in-point: The three lovely ladies pictured here.
Since each face is unique, the ideal eyebrows will vary in shape, size, length and color in order to complement different features. But there are, however, common "bad brow mistakes" many women make: Overtweezing, overfilling or uneven attending.
According to New York celebrity makeup artist and eyebrow specialist Elke Von Freudenberg, one of the most common brow mishaps is uneven brows. "When one brow is higher than the other it can make you look like you're raising your eyebrow, or that the bone structure and facial shape are uneven, she says. "Let a brow pro reshape and even the brows so they are perfectly aligned."
Check out these three stars to see the difference that good brow maintenance can make and find out what celebrity brow artists think about their transformations.
"Evangeline's fuller brows really help to soften her look and open up her eyes, which just absolutely sparkle now," says Billion Dollar Brows cofounder and CEO Natalie Plain. "Her new brows serve as the perfect frame for her face."
"Clearly, Christina had very full, dark eyebrows before. Now, her brows have a soft, natural-looking arch and a lighter color, which creates a clean, sophisticated look," says celebrity brow artist Anastasia Soare.
"Jenna has a petite high arch, which is great for her small face, but she is slightly over-tweezed. Brows that are less arched and rounded would be more complementary to her look," says Soare. If your brows are too skinny or over-tweezed, she suggests using a hair growth stimulator. "It takes patience for the brows to grow since it’s a slow process. Use a brow pencil to fill in bald spots and mask the growth," she says.
