New and Noteworthy: Skin Enhancing Tints

There are two new and noteworthy (yes, I titled it that way for a reason) tinted moisturizers that are blowing me away this month. First, let's tackle why they are both so equally noteworthy.

1) They come from brands not known for color and going outside the box is always appreciated in my beauty book.

2) Despite the fact that they are technically "tints," they contain a nice amount of color coverage—just a smidge shy of a foundation—making them perfect for those that need a little extra help covering imperfections.

3) Radiance. It's important and both of these tints give my face that "I just got back from vacation" glow I pay big bucks for. No Hawaii necessary.

4) Perhaps most importantly, neither make my skin break out.

So what are these magical mystery tints? Dermalogica Cover Tint ($44) is a creamy foundation with iron oxides that balance skin tone and soften fine lines. It comes in three shades (light, medium, dark) and blends seamlessly.

Liz Earl Sheer Skin Tint ($33) is a thick and creamy formula containing vitamin E, borage and avocado, and makes my skin glow from the inside out, while also covering up impurities in my skin. It comes in four shades (bare, beige, beach, deep bisque) and also blends into the skin incredibly well.

How will you choose between the two? Don't. They are both worth their weight in tinty gold.
