Get Youthful Skin Without The Irritation

It's easy to get overwhelmed with so many different skin care products to choose from these days so I tend to stick with products from Orlane—it might be pricey, but it works and my skin doesn't complain. But every once in awhile, a different skin care line piques my interest and this time it was Alchimie Forever of Switzerland. The products are designed to fight signs of aging and treat a variety of skin issues including acne and rosacea. Plus, it's a family-run business created by a dermatologist and his biomedical researcher wife, and headed by their daughter.
First off, all of the products are free of parabens, animal byproducts, gluten, formaldehyde and other possible skin irritants. And each contains botanical ingredients extracted from herbs, plants and fruits and vegetables that are packed with antioxidants to strengthen, protect and promote healthy, youthful-looking skin.
The first product that I tried was the Alchimie Forever Purifying Facial Cleanser ($41). It was gentle, but lightly exfoliated my skin with natural extracts of papaya, while cucumber and grapefruit softened my skin.
The Alchimie Protective Morning Cream ($69) is perfect for day use. It was lightweight, absorbed quickly and I was happy to find that it took a lot of the redness out of my skin and provided a hint of shine to my complexion. It’s packed with blueberry and jojoba extracts, which hydrate and regulate oil production. And it smells great, too!
The Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm ($69) is also loaded with blueberries and jojoba, along with alfalfa, grape seeds and cocoa butter. It’s made to be used both morning and night, and it absorbs quickly into the eye area, leaving it hydrated and firm. I also found that it reduced the appearance of dark circles under my eyes—which you don't find often.
The last product that I tested was the Alchimie Forever Brightening Moisture Mask ($60) and I must say, it's incredibly creamy and soothing. After leaving it on my face and neck for about 20 minutes, I rinsed it off with lukewarm water and found that my skin was less dull and it even got rid of some redness in my skin.
I give the line a big thumbs up. It works well, removes redness and feels luxurious!
