Revive Your Strands With Pomegranate
By Marissa Hicken |
In addition to the array of health benefits that pomegranates provide, they have also been used for centuries to dye fabrics. Banking on the pomegranate’s ability to maintain color, Klorane created a hair care collection starring the superfruit: Klorane Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in Fluid with Pomegranate ($14-$18).
The three-piece line for color-treated hair is formulated with Moroccan-grown pomegranate to bind color to the keratin in hair, which can actually help color last up to twice as long between salon visits. If you color your hair, you’re well aware of the toll it can play on your locks; these products also work to reverse dry, damaged strands to a before color-treatment condition.
The sweet-smelling trio consists of a gentle cleansing shampoo, a repairing conditioner and a no-rinse care product that protects hair color, repairs damage and even coats hair with a UV filter to fight fading.
Between the flavorful scent, the pretty pink bottles and beauty benefits galore—even those who don’t color their hair will be satisfied. Hair looks healthy to the touch and color stays brighter, longer.
