Ambé'S Notable Night Cream
By Shellie Terry Benson |
We come across a lot of night creams here at the NewBeauty offices, and we use our beauty editor know-how to weed out those that seem to be over-promising. What do we look for? For an anti-aging night cream, we want powerful products that promote cell turnover and boost collagen production.
We found both in AMBÉ Porcelain Skin All In One Night Cream ($95). It combines antioxidants and amino acids that not only turnover cells and increase collagen, but also increase elastin. Also, retinyl palmitate and glycolic acid reduce pores, lighten hyper-pigmentation and tone the skin. The packaging is lovely, too, but we're all about results. I saw overnight improvement in my skin's texture and even better looking skin after repeated use.
This line of skin-care products was created by Newport Beach, CA, plastic surgeon Milind K. Ambe, MD, who wanted to create products that beat out the typical over-the-counter offerings, but didn't require a prescription. Success, we say!
