A 1980s Manicure Remake
By Marissa Hicken |
We're a little unsure about the new Footloose movie remake. Although we haven't seen it yet, we're skeptical of a Kevin Bacon-less, breakdancing Bomont. However, we're loving Deborah Lippman's new collection celebrating Footloose then and now.
The Footloose Collection is made up of two nail polish sets containing new shades inspired by the original movie and this year's remake. The first duo includes “Almost Paradise”-a pistachio hue inspired by Ren's Volkswagen Beetle and “Footloose”-a bright red as bold as Ariel and her notorious red cowboy boots.
The second set includes “Let's Hear It for the Boy,” a baby blue playing homage to the acid wash jeans of the original and “Dancing in the Sheets,” a deep prom-dress purple we can't wait to wear this winter. These fun colors will have you kicking off your Sunday shoes and cutting loose in no time.
