How To Master Fall’S Sultry Makeup Trends

Fall makeup can be a little more involved than low-maintenance summer looks. Jason Garner, makeup artist and National Training Manager for DuWop has some great advice for using fall-inspired colors on your eyes, cheeks and lips. We had to share:

Eyes:
At the fall runway shows, subtle brown shadows with heavy mascara were characteristic of some of the sultriest looks of the season.

Accentuate your eyes by using variations of lighter and darker brown tones with subtle accents of gold and champagne highlighters. For added dimension and brightening, add a metallic gold eye shadow to the inner rim of the eye. Instantly the eyes look brighter and more rested. DuWop's Brown Eyes gives you everything you need to create the subtle sultry effect for the eyes. As seen at the D&G fall runway show, for a show-stopping effect, go heavy on the mascara for your top and bottom lashes. I use a combination of Lancome's Definicils for volume and DuWop's Lash Venom for length.

Cheeks:
For soft innocence, apply a rosy toned highlighting blush to the cheeks. Open the face by lightly applying the blush across the bridge of the nose.

Accentuate every feature, contour the cheeks and frame the face with a highlighter blush. DuWop's Blush Booster in Watermelon highlights the cheeks, giving subtle dimension to every feature.

Lips:
With the lips, go bold with plum or soft with nude to create the perfect pout. DuWop's Private Plum adjusts to your own chemistry to create the perfect color for you. Also, try Private Plum on the cheeks for a slightly cooler flush. For a bolder look, plump and stain lips with DuWop's Pure Venom in Pure Berry.

As an alternative, add subtle dimension to the lips with Duwop's Private Nude lipstick, and Venom gloss in Buttercup.
