Salvation For Damaged, Dry Strands
By Marissa Hicken |
The bottle of Living proof's new Restore Conditioner (for dry or damaged hair) reads: “tangle removing, softness restoring, shine renewing, strand healing.” Big promises for a stout little bottle, but whether you want to blame your colorist, the sun or your hair iron for your dry and damaged strands, listen up.
Living Proof's new Restore line includes a shampoo, conditioner and mask that are all specially formulated with a special moisture-controlling molecule (PolyfluroEster) to create a protective layer that doesn't weigh hair down and also increases the hair's resistance to breakage. “Restore really challenges the status-quo. It is a solution that addresses the causes of dryness and damage, offering immediate and long-term benefits, without oils and silicones,” says Jon Flint, CEO and co-founder of Living Proof.
We love that we can replenish our locks with all of the moisture and goodness Restore has to offer without experiencing the oiliness and weight that other products can cause. So unlike those greasy products that make us feel like we have dirty hair within hours, we don't have to wash as often and, in turn, we don't have to style as often (which, as you can guess, sometimes means exposing our strands to some pretty high heat). So, if you are looking to restore your strands without weighing them down, then you've found your match. Look for the purple Restore bottles in stores this month.
