Make Scents This Fall
By Marissa Hicken |
As we transition to fall, we begin wearing heavier clothes, darker nail polish and deeper hair hues. But something we might be forgetting to change with the seasons is our signature scent.
"A new fall fragrance is the perfect way to get an instant fashion makeover. Fragrance is such a great, affordable style accessory," says Rochelle Bloom, the Fragrance Foundation's President. And we couldn't agree more. So put away those bright and fruity summery scents-it's time for warm and sexy fragrances that complement your fall wardrobe.
“The fall landscape is all about golden trees, red-blazing leaves, crimson sunsets and glowing firelight, so think spicy, oriental, woody, mossy, earthy fragrances. Warm up with scents redolent of cloves, ginger, carnation, herbs, sandalwood, cedar wood, oak-moss or geranium notes that make for wonderfully deep, sensuous, romantic fragrances. Look for haunting floral notes like night-blooming Jasmine, said to be an aphrodisiac and luxurious, ultra-feminine rose,” the Fragrance Foundation says.
