Conceal And Correct Dark Circles

Has anyone ever told you that you look tired when in fact you're full of energy and ready to go? It's happened to me and I know why-my dark under-eye circles.

I'm naturally dark under my eyes, a genetic trait that afflicts many of the women in my family, so concealer is a must-have for us. But concealing dark circles can be a tricky task. The wrong concealer can draw attention to your bags, which defeats the purpose. To make matters worse, I have a hard time finding a color that actually blends in with my skin tone. The light is usually too light and the dark is usually too dark. Because I've yet to discover the ultimate concealer I'm constantly on the lookout.

My most recent find is Merle Norman's Dual Action Concealer. I like that it's in a tube with a sponge applicator because I find that I get black eyeliner-smudge in concealer pots when double dipping. But what I like even more is the six shades it comes in: Light, Medium, Light Neutral, Medium Light Cool, Medium Light Warm, Medium and Medium Dark. Chances are there's a shade that's your perfect match. The blendable, buildable formula that doesn't get caught in skin imperfections is really enough to please me, but in addition to it's creamy coverage, it has anti-aging super powers that brighten and smooth the under-eye area. So if you're looking to hide imperfections and stop them from returning, you've met your match. You're welcome.
