Lush Cosmetics Supports Japan Relief Efforts
By Aly Walansky |
The situation in Japan is still incredibly dire, and Lush Cosmetics has created a limited-edition soap and Charity Pots to help with Japanese support efforts. The Charity Pot is made with skin-softening cocoa butter and almond oil. It costs $5 and the revenues, excluding the tax, will go to three charities supporting relief efforts in Japan.
The Rising Sun soap is shaped like the Japanese flag and smells of cherries with spicy cinnamon undertones. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of The Rising Sun will go to Peace Boat, a Japan-based non-profit organization that works to promote peace, human rights, equal and sustainable development and respect for the environment. It's an amazing cause, but I'm also excited about the amazing scent coming out of that Rising Sun soap!
