The Fabulous Beekman Boys!
By Linda Walsh |
I live in LA, which means celebrity sightings are an everyday occurrence. However, despite being quite jaded, I was super excited with my most recent sighting. I was at the airport when I met - wait for it ... The Fabulous Beekman Boys! Don't know who the Fabulous Beekman Boys are? Well you should.
The Fabulous Beekman Boys are Brent and Josh. Individually, they have been successful in their own right before joining together both personally and professionally. Brent is actually Dr. Brent Ridge, assistant clinical professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was vice president of healthy living for Martha Steward Living Omnimedia. Josh Kilmer-Purcell is an acclaimed author with titles on the New York Times bestseller list.
A few years ago they decided to pull a complete Green Acres and move up to a farmhouse in Sharon Springs, New York. They bought the beautiful Beekman house and farm there and are trying to make a go of it as farmers and mercantile runners and basically live off the land. They are raising their own livestock and farming their own vegetables. You can see them in action at the Beekman Farm on their television show The Fabulous Beekman Boys.
One of the many lovely products Beekman 1802 offers is their goat's milk soap. This creamy soap is made with the highest percentage of pure goat's milk possible. The goats are raised in a natural environment. They drink every day from the waters of the Sharon Springs, once a world-famous spa destination. These lovely soaps are handmade in a chemical-free setting. They are gentle on the skin and come in several delightful scents.
Brent and Josh take great pains to see to every detail of their products. Each item is lovingly hand packaged and an absolute delight inside and out.
