How To Out Lash Your Friends

Is it me, or does everybody I see lately have amazing, long, full eyelashes? Everybody from those teenage vixens on Glee to the Kardashians have amazing flutters.
I have long worshipped at the altar of beautiful lashes. Being a pale redhead, my strawberry blonde lashes were almost invisible. I spent countless hours as a girl studying photos of Hollywood's leading ladies trying to figure out the secret to their amazing eyes. However, these days it isn't just the glitterati that have them. Mere mortals have unlocked the secret to amazing lashes, and I decided to make it my quest to do the same!
First off: false lashes aren't just for special occasions anymore. I have always loved a bit of lash enhancement for weddings and evening events, but thought that daytime lashes were gone with the days of Twiggy. Turns out, there is a whole new generation of beautiful “falsies” our there (Make Up For Ever has an incredible collection). There's a huge trend towards light eye makeup for daytime with pretty, natural-looking fake lashes. It's very “Mad Men” and very beautiful.
There are also some amazing mascaras out there these days. Dior Show, for example, creates such a sexy dramatic lash you may find that the flirty glance of yours has superhero-like powers.
My favorite discovery by far has been NueLash. At first, I was very skeptical. Then I ran into an old friend, and, frankly couldn't even concentrate on what she was saying because I was so distracted by her incredibly long lashes. She shared her secret, which came in a little silver tube containing 15 different peptides and panthenol. Within about five weeks, friends were noticing my lashes. In a few months, I was routinely getting asked if I was wearing false lashes! Not only were my lashes much fuller and longer they also grew in darker so, I find I need less mascara.
